Montsuar Project: A virtual Reconstruction of the Medieval City of Lleida in the XVth Century
This paper describes the research concepts and works done the Griho group of Lleida University (Spain) in the area of virtual reconstruction. The Montsuar project aims to offer an integral image of the different levels and elements that made up the city of Lleida in the 15th century. In the previous project we have given priority over methodology. The challenge now in this project is to integrate different levels of analysis and diverses methodologies into a single framework in order to provide the users with a diffents levels of information, based first on a multimedia systems in 3D offering a view of the city combinend with differents levels of zoom that will present differents views of the medieval city, outlining the real and simulated parts and the documentation related with that object.
