Human Development Education Goes Online in Chile August 29, 2001

[9.1.2001 | ]

A new web site created by UNDP Chile, the first of its kind in Latin America, is bringing education on human development to thousands of classrooms across the country. The web site, Desarrollo Humano y Educación offers teachers and students suggestions for course work and other activities presented in attractive, simple format. It introduces the concept and measurement of human development and presents a municipal-level human development index that enables pupils to look up their own communities' rankings. http://www.unesco.org/webworld/news/2001/010829_chile.shtml
