UNESCO Prepares Recommendation on Multilingualism and Universal Access to Cyberspace September 07, 2001

As cyberspace knows no borders, the development of international regulatory frameworks and action plans is of vital interest to all countries. UNESCO encourages its Member States to adopt an international Recommendation on the implementation of common principles in support to equitable and affordable access to information and to the development of a multicultural information society.
